FANTASTIC SITE!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have several experiences which I will relate to you when I have time
to put finger to keys. Not all of them are from a software scenario,
it seems to me coming from a background of electronic engineering that
managers are crap no matter what field you are in.
I got so ####ed off with bad managment that I set up my own software
company. Allright we may not be in the big league, but we turned over
a tidy profit last year and we havent done a single piece of marketing
yet. Its all come to us through word of mouth.
Keep up the good work with this excellent site. I promise to send you
some of my experiences.
Regards
nick

This is my life, were you to replace Stimpy with a high-school graduate
with delusions of god-hood and CrapSoft with a venture-capital firm that
thought Objects were best described in data-flow diagrams. I look forward
to the next chapter.

Excuse me! but since when has a list of 'Coool!' books not
have both 'Code Complete' and 'Rapid Development' (by Steve
McConnell) listed. This is an oversight that I am prepared
to overlook - for now :)
If you have no idea how to start to define the management
do's then read the above books.

And another thing...
Matt, why don't you get a message board working. Then a real
dialog can develop. Maybe even some crap managers could add
their 9 bits worth (and then get flamed- tee, hee).

Hello, Mr. Stephens. I enjoyed visiting your site.
I couldn't help but hear your voice with every sentence
I read. It was sort of a Multi-Media Experience for me :)

This all sounds very familiar.
Like the Marine page.

You must be a sad manic man, working with computers by day and mucking about with them by night as well.
I have told Glenn that the maun feature in your site is based upon him!!!!!!!
I hope that your trip to the States has been a good one.
See you soon
Steve.

Your Crap Managers/Bad Management page is empty! Very disappointing.

Err, no it's not. It uses frames though.

The background makes the blue links *very* difficult to read!

Thanks for the comment about the background colour. I've now changed
it to make the links easier to read.
Matt.

Amusing, but sad, too--does BodgeCo. have a Los Angeles office? I think
I may have worked there once, luckily not for 3 years! Why did John stay
for so long?

Matt, some might say (not me, of course) that your page has a slightly
negative tone.
In the interest of promoting the positive side to your crusade, here's
a good management tip:
Remember that a carrot will always be better than a stick. If a team member
doesn't respond to it as an incentive, you can always throw it in their
face.

Nice site, Matt, but a tad ... er ... blue.
By the way, I've heard a rumour that there are some low down, dirty, rotten
liars on the Web. So don't believe everything you read.

Yo, dude, Gravity Sucks.
There's no place to put a link to my groovy website.
And why does it remove HTML? Mine doesn't.
